BROOKSVILLE - Wanted: The ABCs of rock and roll.

Spring Hill-based Southern Thunder will return to the Brooksville Bandshell Bash this Saturday, but with a newly coined name — Wanted.

Bassist Aron Sword said although the name has changed, the personnel has stayed the same, and the music — what he and the other members call the ABCs — Alternative, Blues and Classic rock, hasn't changed either.

There's also a healthy mix of southern rock in their song list with tunes by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchett and the Allman Brothers.

For those who love classic heavy metal and rock, Wanted can crank out Led Zeppelin, Ozzy Osbourne, Aerosmith, Styx, Foghat, BTO, Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Tom Petty, Bob Segar and Neil Young.

The Bandshell Bash is held from 4 to 8 p.m. on the second Saturday of every month at the Hernando Park and Bandshell located at 204 E. Fort Dade Ave., Brooksville. The 2006 State Cultural Enhancement Award-winning Bandshell Bash is a series of free outdoor concerts and the music is family-friendly.

The event also includes the Brooksville Cruise-In, an antique hot rod car and motorcycle show.
