Herne Pierre, 68, of Weeki Wachee, died Friday, May 29. She was born in Les Cayes, Haiti, moved to the U.S. 41 years ago from Haiti and moved to this area two years ago from New York.
Mrs. Pierre was a Protestant by faith and a member of Christian Church in the Wildwood.
Survivors include her husband, Laurent; two sons, Laurent Pierre Jr. of Boynton Beach and Dr. Jude A. Pierre of Tampa; a daughter, Hermione Pierre Johnson of Elmont, N.Y.; three sisters; a brother; and 11 grandchildren.

Catherine I. Darby, 90, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, May 30. She was born in Utica, New York, and moved to this area 15 years ago from Stratford, N.J.
Mrs. Darby was the owner and operator of a grocery store and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Harry Beach of Cameron Park, Calif.; a daughter, Suzanne Downey of Spring Hill; four brothers, Clarence J. Ryan of Spring Hill, Richard Ryan of Berlin, N.J., William Ryan of Trumbull, Conn., and Donald Ryan of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren.

Merlin B. Dunlap, 91, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, May 30, at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Lawndale, Ill., and moved to this area 34 years ago from Clearwater.
Mr. Dunlap was a retired roofer, U.S. Marine Corp veteran and a Methodist by faith.
There are no known survivors.

Thomas Pytlik, 65, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, May 30.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; and two sons, Todd and Scott.

Michael J. Polino, 72, of Spring Hill, died Friday, May 29, at Heron Point Health & Rehab. He was born in Brooklyn, New York.
Mr. Polino worked for the Pasco County School Board as a carpenter and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include a son, Frank of Tampa; two daughters, Maria Schaefer and Ann Burgos, both of Spring Hill; two sisters, Theresa and Mary; and three grandchildren.
