BROOKSVILLE - The sputtering economy forced three car dealerships in Hernando and Pasco counties to close June 1. Sales at the dealerships this year were down nearly 35 percent compared to the first four months of 2008.
In Port Richey, Gulfview Motors, a fixture for nearly 25 years, will close. Hernando Mitsubishi in Spring Hill and Hernando Suzuki in Brooksville will close as well.
