BROOKSVILLE - An impound ordinance that allows temporary seizure of a car with a loud stereo will get a final reading Monday night.
The Brooksville City Council first discussed the ordinance in June, but delayed taking action because they deemed some of the language too harsh.
The city's lawyer revised the ordinance to read that the second violation of certain city code will merit impounding the vehicle. Among the code violations is excessive stereo noise.
Also Monday, the city council will discuss a contract that establishes a center for senior activities at the city's golf course.
The Enrichment Center at the Quarry will also double as an emergency shelter.
