Flooding closes Barnett Road

BROOKSVILLE - The Hernando County Public Works Department announced Friday that Barnett Road had been temporarily and partially closed due to flooding.
Barnett Road, between U.S. 41 (Broad Street) and Horse Lake Road, south of Brooksville, is closed at both ends.
The road is open to local residential traffic only while public works crews pump out the water. It is anticipated the road will reopen late Friday.
