Seyfried Accepts Purple Heart

Joe Seyfried displays a painting depicting two B-17 bombers after a mid-air collision during World War II. Seyfried's brother Francis was a crewman on one of the planes and bailed out over the English Channel and was never found. It wasn't until 1999 that Seyfried learned what happened on his brother's last mission. Seyfried will receive his brother's Purple Heart Medal in a presentation Saturday, Jan 31.
