BROOKSVILLE - Civic activist and local homebuilder Blaise Ingoglia is the newest member of the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC).
Ingoglia, who earned a reputation locally for his hard-line stance against purported government waste and overspending, has also been a vocal advocate of affordable housing in Hernando County.
During the 2007 Legislative session the Florida Legislature reinstated the requirement that all local governments who participated in the State Housing Initiatives Program must have an AHAC, which has 11 members.
County commissioners appointed Ingoglia to the post during their Tuesday business meeting.
