Judicial Evaluation Team To Meet Friday

BROOKSVILLE - A Judicial Complex RFP Evaluation Team meeting will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16 in the Hernando County Commission chambers' meeting room, 20 N. Main Street, Brooksville.

The team will meet to discuss the responses to the request for proposals received from the competing firms and establish an evaluation format for selection of short-listed firms.

County Seeks COAT Members

BROOKSVILLE - The county is accepting applications from people interested in filling unexpired terms on the Citizens Ordinance Advisory Team (COAT).

Two terms are effective until Dec. 31, 2009 and one term is effective until Dec. 31, 2010.

COAT reviews existing county codes and ordinances and makes recommendations to the commissioners.

Health Care Board Positions Being Accepted.

BROOKSVILLE - The county is accepting applications from people interested in filling vacancies on the Health Care Advisory Board.

There is a vacancy as a managed care representative, effective until Dec. 31, 2010 and a post education representative, effective until Dec. 31, 2009.

The Health Care Advisory Board advises county commissioners on health care matters.

Fine Arts Council Opening

BROOKSVILLE - The county is accepting applications from people interested in filling an unexpired term on the Fine Arts Council, effective until Dec. 31, 2010.

The Council promotes the arts and supports groups associated with the arts in Hernando County.
