'Road Rage' Defused With Arrest
SPRING HILL - Deputies say they defused a road rage incident by intercepting a motorist who was waving a small pistol at another driver.
The incident began in Pasco County, but Hernando deputies were waiting on the Suncoast Parkway when suspect Jeffrey Bish passed them Friday afternoon, a report shows.
Bish was pulled over and deputies say they found a loaded Derringer in his pickup, along with marijuana and a drug-smoking pipe. In the glove box was a signal jammer that Bish said he used to enjoy his dinner without cell phones ringing around him.
Bish, 53, was charged with a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Man Threatens To Feed Lover To Alligators, Police Say
BROOKSVILLE - A confrontation over pizza between two lovers ended with a man threatening to chop up his partner and feed her to alligators, a report states.
A 911 call Saturday brought deputies to 9353 Sunshine Grove Road, where the suspect, Albert Levesque, 66, met them at the front gate. He wouldn't tell deputies what was wrong, just that he lived with his wife's sister and she was a "basket case," a report states.
Deputies tried to talk with the victim, but she was hysterical and bleeding, so she was taken to Oak Hill Hospital for treatment. Levesque was still uncooperative but he admitted to having a relationship with the victim so he was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery.
When re-interviewed at the hospital, the victim reportedly told deputies that Levesque shoved pizza in her mouth when she told him she would rather sleep than eat. He also struck her in the face and threatened to feed her to alligators, a report states.
