TAMPA - High supply and weak demand led to a drop in crude oil prices.
Unexpectedly, retail gas prices have risen by more than 20 cents since Jan. 1.
It is expected that pump costs will be more in line with crude oil this week.
A decrease is all but certain, according to AAA Auto Club South.
The average cost for a gallon of regular gas in Florida was $1.83 as of Sunday. That is an increase from $1.68 a week earlier.
