Elected Officials Should Work For The People
It is way past time that you elected officials work for the people of the state of Florida, as you are paid very well as a part time job, to do so.
Legalize casino gambling in the state of Florida (Not for only the Indians. Let them have it, too, but not exclusively.) It will help the economy tremendously. Put it on the ballot. Let the people decide!
Do not raise taxes. Cut spending!
Stop the out-sourcing that costs millions more.
Stop the double-dipping.
If you plan on raising the cigarette tax $1 per pack, then you should also raise the alcohol tax $1 per ounce. It is just as deadly, if not more so, than cigarettes and ruins many families. I know, I was a victim of that.
Make all counties reduce their impact fees to $2,500 or eliminate them altogether. That will get the construction industry moving again. So would allowing gambling casinos. Do the same for commercial construction.
Cut government employee salaries (all of them, starting at the top) and benefits. Put them in line with the private sector.
Stop allowing the raping of the people with outrageous contracts for state work that is done such as roads and buildings.
No new taxes! Reduce the existing ones. Do your jobs.
Use the special session to cut taxes and government spending.
Please ask Sen. Jeff Atwater to allow the 1.35-percent tax cap on the ballot this year.
Do the job you are outrageously paid to do. Represent the people, not yourselves.

Can't Survive Tax Hikes
As a Florida resident and voter, I live on a restricted income. The Social Security Administration has notified me that my income is so far below the lower income average that Medicare pays for my A, B, C and D expenses. If taxes are not lowered and counties use their ability to freely increase sales and gasoline taxes I will not be able to survive in the state of Florida.
Please use the special session to cut taxes and government spending.
Please ask Sen. Jeff Atwater to allow the 1.35-percent tax cap.

Reader Is For More Responsible Governing
With all the scandals and "pork" added to all the stimulus packages, isn't it time for somebody in government to set an example of responsible governing?
Please use the special session to cut taxes and government spending.
Ask Sen. Jeff Atwater to allow the 1.35-percent tax cap.
