Thomas R. Nicoletti, 87, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Feb. 23, at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. Nicoletti was a combat veteran in the U.S. Army during the North African and Italian Campaigns, retiring as a Major. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas E. of Spring Hill and Richard C. of California; a daughter, Joyce Ann; and five grandchildren.

Matthew "Matt" Pugliese, 51, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Feb. 20. He was born in Hialeah and moved to this area 12 years ago from Tallahassee.
Mr. Pugliese was employed with Radio Shack as an assistant manager.
Survivors include two children, Eric and Kayla Hammer, both of Tallahassee; a brother, Joseph Pugliese; two sisters, Linda Nichols and Nora Pugliese; his stepmom, Mary Pugliese; a stepsister, Ann Bartholmew; and a stepbrother Nick Biancardo.

Kerry Simpson, 87, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Feb. 22.
He is survived by his wife, Katie.

Larry E. Parsons, 61, of Brooksville, died Monday, Feb. 23, at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice House. He was born in Apollo, Pa., and moved to this area nine years ago.
Mr. Parsons was a truck driver and a Vietnam War U.S. Marine veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a stepson, Troy Toth of St. Petersburg; and two brothers, William Parsons of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mark Rosensteel of Apollo.

Warren E. Schmiett, 86, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Feb. 23, at Cypress Cove Care Center, Crystal River. He was born in Los Angeles, Calif., and moved to this area 25 years ago from California.
Mr. Schmiett was an account manager and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; two sons, William and Douglas; a daughter, Virginia "GiGi"; and four grandchildren.

Peter A. Strozzi, 93, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, at his home.
Mr. Strozzi was a retired police officer, an ABCC investigator, and a World War II veteran.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Strozzi of Cheshire, Conn.; two daughters, Marylyn DiSilva of Treasure Island and Kathleen Strozzi of Spring Hill; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
