The Masaryktown Activities Club wishes to thank everyone who worked, attended and had a good time at the Sweetheart Dance last Friday. It was a great success. Special thanks to Phil Rafferty, the disc jockey, and his "Decades of Tunes."
Mona and Chuck Premorel enjoyed a happy visit from Mona's longtime friends, Barbara and hubby Tom Breesse from Natick, Mass. The gals met when they were 4 years old, a long time ago in Massachusetts. They have remained good friends all these years and really enjoyed a super-great, almost two-week long visit!
Big family farewell is going on at Grandma and Grandpa Dennis and Jeanette Jones, longtime residents. Their grandson, Master Sgt. Jason Flynn of the U.S. Air Force, is being shipped to Afghanistan. Joining the farewells of many relatives and friends are Jason's wife Joann and their 8-year-old son, Jason Jr., Jason Sr.'s mom Debbie Jones of Spring Hill, his great-aunt and uncle, Audrey and Greg Little of Sinclairville, N.Y., who came here for the party. They are enjoying a big barbecue of everything that can be grilled, lots of side dishes, and special family moments. To Jason, our best wishes and may God go with you.
