SPRING HILL - The Hernando County Health Department announced Friday a cat tested positive for rabies, the county said.
The cat bit and/or scratched four people and a dog near Geneva Street in Spring Hill.
Three of the four victims were treated, but a fourth victim has not been identified.
She is a white female jogger who was wearing a white sweater and blue pants. She was jogging with another woman at 6 p.m. Thursday in the vicinity of Horizon Street in Spring Hill, witnesses said.
