Leonard W. Podeszwa, 74, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Feb. 15, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa. He was born in Rockford, Ill., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Loves Park, Ill.
Mr. Podeszwa retired as a driver and warehouseman from Paramount Distributors in Rockford and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Diana; a brother, James Podeszwa of Rockford; and a half-sister, Geraldine Clark of Chicago, Ill.
Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.

Scott M. Bierwiler, 42, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Feb. 19, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born in Cold Spring, N.Y., and moved to this area 34 years ago from Bath, N.Y.
Mr. Bierwiler was a Captain for the Hernando County Sheriff's Office in Brooksville. He received the New Jersey State Medal of Valor, Hernando County Sheriff's Office Medal of Valor, the Meritorious Service Award from Bergen County Prosecutors Office, the Combat Cross, and the Hernando County Ribbon of Commendation. He was a member of the New Jersey State Honor Legion and St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Angela; a son, Scott Bierwiler; two daughters, Kayla and Kiley Bierwiler; his mother, Maureen Bierwiler; a brother, Frank W. Bierwiler of Spring Hill; and a sister, Kelly Misener of Spring Hill.

Arthur H. Roadruck Jr., 62, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Feb. 19, at Tampa General Hospital, Tampa. He was born in Akron, Ohio, and moved to Florida 56 years ago.
Mr. Roadruck was a U.S. Marines veteran, having served as a corporal, Charlie Company, and served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy Jo Mendick; a son, John Watier of Port Richey; a daughter, Tracy Wray of spring Hill; a brother, Bruce Roadruck of Virginia; a sister, Rondela Emrick; two grandsons; two nephews; and two nieces.
