BROOKSVILLE - Hernando County commissioners on Wednesday will discuss an early leave retirement plan for employees.
The plan, estimated to save $500,000 annually, would allow eligible government workers to retire early with a cash-out.
Also Tuesday, commissioners will discuss the ranking of its proposed stimulus projects earmarked for funding under President Barack Obama's recovery plan.
County Administrator David Hamilton will also unveil a new meeting format to accommodate the newly create standing committees and regular board meetings.
The land use hearing will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the Hernando County Government Center, 20 North Main St. in downtown Brooksville.
