Dog Bites K-9 Deputy

RIDGE MANOR A sheriff's deputy was taken to a Tampa hospital Saturday after a police dog attacked him and bit him on his arm and hand, a sheriff's spokeswoman said.
The bite occurred at the community center following a K-9 demonstration that morning, said Sgt. Donna Black.
The local crime watch group was being honored by the sheriff and the demo was part of the festivities.
The injured deputy, whose name was not released, was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital, Black said.
