Stewart Douglas Haddock, 93, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Aug. 20. He was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area 24 years ago from Brookfield, Conn.
Mr. Haddock worked for Seaboard Finance Company, New York City-New England Region, and in real estate. He was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Esther; two sons, Robert D. Haddock of West Bethel, Maine, and Doug S. Haddock of Torrington, Conn.; and a brother, John Haddock of Scarsdale, N.Y.
Arrangements by Brewer & Sons Funeral Home, Commercial Way, Spring Hill Chapel.
John O. Martin Sr., 85, of Brooksville, died Monday, Aug. 24, at Brooksville Regional Hospital. He was born in Trammel, Va., and moved to this area 62 years ago from Trammel.
Mr. Martin was a postal carrier, a World War II U.S. Army Corp veteran, Past Master of Hernando Lodge No. 97, and was a volunteer firefighter for 25 years in Hernando County.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth W.; two sons: John O. Martin Jr. of Brooksville and Michael D. Martin of Elizabethton, Tenn.; two daughters, Naomi Engler of Fort Walton Beach and Vicky Lynn Thomas of Phoenixville, Pa.; a sister, Dorothy O. Williams of Coebern, Va.; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
