BROOKSVILLE - Two men with the same name were arrested Wednesday during an undercover drug sting at Laurenwood Mobile Home Park.
Police say a confidential informant purchased marijuana from Michael W. Henderson, 48, and Michael Henderson, 24. Both were charged with possession of marijuana under 20 grams and sale of marijuana. Police also confiscated $1,300 in cash.
The operation was initiated following numerous complaints about drug activity at the park at 712 W. Jefferson St.
Broken brake light leads to marijuana citation
SPRING HILL A pickup truck with a broken brake light led to the seizure of 15 grams of marijuana on Wednesday.
The truck was pulled over at Canterbury Street and Omaha Circle for the alleged infraction and the deputy said he smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the car.
The driver, James Cole, voluntarily surrendered the remains of his "quarter bag," which tested positive for marijuana. He was given a misdemeanor citation for possession of marijuana under 20 grams.
