Budget director does not get Citrus job

BROOKSVILLE - Budget Director George Zoettlein was not one of the three finalists for the vacant position of county administrator in Citrus County.
Instead, Citrus commissioners decided to arrange interviews with Brad Thorpe, Walter Munchheimer and Charles Lynn.
Zoettlein said he is content to remain budget director for Hernando and has no intention of seeking another job.
Zoettlein said he will continue to commute from his Citrus County home.
