Come join the Cruising for Critters Poker Run Saturday

SPRING HILL - The first annual Cruising for Critters Poker Run will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2 and will benefit homeless, neglected and abused pets being cared for at The Humane Society of the Nature Coast. The sponsors and hosts for this event are AAA of Spring Hill and Sky Powersports of Hudson.

Day of event registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the run will kick off at 10 a.m. from the AAA Spring Hill office, 1410 Pinehurst Drive in the Publix Plaza at U.S. 19 and Spring Hill Drive. Pre-registration discounts are available online prior to noon Friday, May 1 at www.cruisingforcritters.com.

The poker stops along the way are the Upper Deck Restaurant in Hernando Beach, Petco in Brooksville, Hess Gas Station in Brooksville, Cotee River Café in Hudson, and ending at Sky Powersports in Hudson. Say hi to Humane Society volunteers cheering on the sidelines on Mobley Road and at the poker stops along the way.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participants along with live entertainment and door prizes rounding out the day. No registration fee is required; just purchase as many poker hands as you would like to play.

Join motorcycles of all types on this day of fun and fortune. No motorcycle? No problem! Drive your car and play along (bring your furry friend).
