BROOKSVILLE - A Central High School student was arrested Thursday after a school resource officer said she found 18 prescription pills on his person.
The 15-year-old suspect, who is not being named because of his age, told the deputy he had acquired the pills from his mother's prescriptions and that he intended to distribute them to students, a report states.
The teenager was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a drug without a prescription and released to his mother.
