Motorcyclist struck by semi killed

RIDGE MANOR - A 73-year-old Zephyrhills woman was the fatal victim of a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon at State Road 50 and Kettering Road.
Theresa Boudreau was a passenger on the motorcycle as it traveled west on S.R. 50 around 2 p.m. As the motorcycle approached the traffic light at Kettering, traffic slowed in front of the motorcycle, so the driver, John Boudreau, 73, attempted to change lanes, troopers say.
As the motorcycle veered into the inside lane, it struck the trailer of a tractor truck, ejecting both motorcyclists, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Theresa Boudreau was fatally injured and died at the scene of the crash; John Boudreau received critical injuries and was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. The driver of the tractor trailer truck, John Gray of Valdosta, Ga., was not injured.
There were no immediate charges.
