BROOKSVILLE - Planning and zoning commissioners Monday voted 5-0 to expand the Seville water treatment plant south of U.S. 98 with a new 2 million-gallon ground storage tank, pump station and other structures on three additional acres.
The county utilities department said the expansion will accommodate future growth in the Seville subdivision.
Also Monday:
Resident Mary Fallen received a special exception use permit to sell landscape plants and trees from her property on the southwest corner of Long Lake Avenue and Allen Drive.
The property is located near Evans Lakeside Heights, north of Weeki Wachee.
Glen Lakes Enterprises Inc.'s plan to build a gas station at the intersection of Glen Lakes Boulevard and U.S. 19 was tabled until May 11, allowing the developer to submit revised plans.
Planning members unanimously approved a conditional use permit to Alicia Reale allowing her to relocate her concession trailer to U.S. 19, south of Balm Street (Village Square Plaza).
Reale previously operated nearby at the Winchester Plaza, off U.S. 19.
The stand will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
