SPRING HILL - Deputies say a woman threw a pair of scissors at her husband Tuesday, causing a bleeding wound on his ear.
The suspect, Teresa Fadroski, 48, told deputies that she was mad because the victim wouldn't take her to Busch Gardens.
Fadroski was charged with aggravated battery.
Traffic Stop Yields Drugs, Cash
BROOKSVILLE A traffic stop for what a deputy considered erratic driving yielded $960 in cash and 35 prescription painkillers.
A deputy began following the suspect vehicle Tuesday from the Circle K gas station at the corner of Broad Street and Spring Hill Drive. As the car headed north, the driver swerved and randomly hit the brakes before turning east on Powell Road, according to a report.
The car was pulled over and the driver, Jesse Gano, 20, arrested for reportedly driving without a license. A search of the car returned a pill bottle with 35 small blue pills, which were identified as oxycodone.
Gano denied ownership of the pills, as did his passenger, Stephanie Poteet, 21, so they were both charged with possession of a controlled substance.
