BROOKSVILLE - With the continued drought and an increased desire to conserve, more people are asking about reclaimed water, said Alys Brockway, the county's water conservation coordinator.
Has she got the seminar for them.
The next installment of the county's Water Awareness Series 2009 is dubbed "Water Reuse 101: Reclaimed, Reuse and You." The free event is slated for 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 3 at the Hernando County Utilities Department, 21030 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville.
Anthony Andrade, senior water conservation analyst at the Southwest Florida Water Management District and a national expert on reclaimed water, will speak on how the resource will be an increasingly important part of the region's future water supplies.
Light refreshments will be served.
