Donald R. Childers, 83, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Sept. 20, at his home. He was born in Charleston, W.Va., and moved to this area three years ago from Melbourne.
Mr. Childers was a district sales manager for Frito Lay. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion Post in Brooksville and Ridge Manor Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Frances L.; a stepson, Craig Childress of Brooksville; a stepdaughter, Joyce Watson of Brooksville; a sister, Mary Alderson of Springfield, Ohio; two stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and a nephew.
Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.

James D. McGlynn, 84, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Sept. 22, at his home. He was born in Brooklyn, New York.
Mr. McGlynn retired from the New York City Sanitation Department. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include a son, James McGlynn of Farmingdale, N.Y.; and a daughter, Eileen McGlynn of Spring Hill.

Larry Ulmen, 67, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Sept. 21.
Mr. Ulmen was a member of Suncoast Singles Club and a Pioneers Club volunteer.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia; and an uncle, Judge John J. Lupe.

Dorothy M. Weeks, 90, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Sept. 18, at her daughter's home in Ohio. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to this area 23 years ago from Millsboro, Del.
Mrs. Weeks was a homemaker and a member of Spring Lake United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy M. "Peggy" Hartman of Sunbury, Ohio, and Barbara A. Lewis of Kennett Square, Pa.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Rafael Fonte, 84, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Sept. 22. He moved to Florida 20 years ago from Puerto Rico.
Mr. Fonte was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Teresita Fonte; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
