Dale Roland Hamlin, 59, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, at his home. He moved to this area seven years ago from his native Michigan.
Mr. Hamlin was a physician's assistant, U.S. Navy veteran and a Christian by faith.
Survivors include his sister, Lana Pruitt of Weeki Wachee; a niece; and a nephew.

Frank Makosiej, 81, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Sept. 10. He was born in Ozone Park, N.Y., and moved to this area 15 years ago from New York.
Mr. Makosiej was a U.S. Army veteran and past commander of the Polish Legion of American Veterans.
Survivors include his wife, Terry; two daughters, Gayle Garthwaite of New York and Lori Galbreath of Spring Hill; two sons, Gary Makosiej of New Hampshire and Robert Makosiej of Spring Hill; and eight grandchildren.

Philip Rieger, 95, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Sept. 11, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area 27 years ago from Taylor, Mich.
Mr. Rieger was a salesman, a World War II U.S. Army Air Corp veteran, Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree, U.S. Power Squadrine (N-rating), Cape Coral Hospital volunteer and attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Philip O'Donnell Rieger of Sarasota; a daughter, Patti Aitkens of Spring Hill; and a grandchild.

Patricia L. Gaines, 78, of Weeki Wachee, died Friday, Sept. 5, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to this area 48 years ago.
Mrs. Gaines was a homemaker and attended St. Patrick Catholic Church, Largo.
Survivors include a son, James P. Gaines of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Susan Shanks of Weeki Wachee, Mary Christy Spencer of Clearwater and Bobbie Schroering of Albany, Ore.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Robert L. Bock, 87, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Sept. 6, at Spring Hill Rehab, Spring Hill. He was born in Springfield, N.J., and moved to Spring Hill 22 years ago from Clearwater.
Mr. Bock was employed by Amerace E.S.N.A., Union, N.J. He was a past member of Brooksville Elks 2582 and volunteered for the Springfield Fire Department and Oak Hill Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; a daughter, Gayle Wieszchowski of Leigh Acres; a son, Robert of Springfield; a sister, Lillian Branning of Surprise, Ariz.; and two granddaughters.

Frank J. "Elvis" Matamoros Jr., 52, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Tampa General Hospital. He was born in Hialeah and moved to this area 15 years ago from California.
Mr. Matamoros was a real estate agent.
Survivors include four daughters, Selena Angelini, Brianna Matamoros and Kailey Matamoros, all of Spring Hill, and Alicia Matamoros of Brooksville; his mother, Amanda Matamoros of California; three sisters, Evelyn Lee of Texas, and Erica Peterson and Tiffany McDaniels, both of California; and three brothers, Roy Matamoros, Dexter Matamoros and Walter Matamoros, all of California.
