Kaitlyn Sue Harper, 13, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, in Brooksville. She was born in New Port Richey and moved to this area 10 years ago from Hudson.
Kaitlyn was a student at West Hernando Middle School and played softball for the Hernando Youth League. She was a future artist and journalist who tied for 1st place in arts & drawings and wrote short stories. She was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her mother, Evelyn Harper-Cannova and stepfather, Samuel Cannova of Brooksville; her father, Allen Harper of Holiday; two brothers, Jonathan Maurer and Joshua Harper, both of Brooksville; maternal grandmother, Juanita Hillerud of Brooksville; and paternal grandmother, Patricia Wojewski of Port Richey.

Billy Harmon, 89, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He moved to this area 22 years ago from his native Atlanta, Ga.
Mr. Harmon retired from the U.S. Navy as Chief Petty Officer, having served during World War II, and also retired as maintenance supervisor for Eastern Airlines. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Michael Harmon of Daytona Beach; three stepsons, Harold E. Nelson Jr. of Hampton, Ga., George H. Nelson of Mt. Joliet, Tenn., and Stephen P. Nelson of Spring Hill; two daughters, Marie Phillips of Jackson, Ga., and Susan Holcomb of Daytona Beach; a stepdaughter, Anne Marie Taylor of Spring Hill; a sister, Betty Lee of Fayette, Ga.; and numerous grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

Peter K. von Klock, 71, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He was born in Melrose, Mass., and moved to this area 37 years ago from Hialeah.
Mr. von Klock retired from Bell South Telephone Company with 41 years of service, retiring as a cable repairman. He was a past member of the Hernando County Sheriff's Auxiliary for 25 years, and the Hialeah and Miami Springs Custom Car Club. He served on the Hialeah Speedway Safety Law Committee. He was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the NRA, and was a lifetime and founding member of the Hernando Sportsman's Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife, Ann; three sons, James Stone Jr. of Spring Hill, and Cletus Karl von Klock and Patrick Kurt von Klock, both of Brooksville; two daughters, Doris Frances Dittman of Masaryktown and LeeAnn Lucille Newborn of Brooksville; two brothers, Anthony von Klock of Tennessee and William C. von Klock Sr. of Coconut Creek; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
