Byron W. Dorsey, 96, of Brooksville, died Friday, Sept. 5, at the Spring Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center. He moved to the area from Chicago 28 years ago.
Mr. Dorsey was a salesman. He was a past treasurer of the Cribbage Club. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was with the United Church of Christ.
Survivors include his nephews and nieces.
Arrangements by Downing Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Spring Hill.
William F. Kanasky, 89, of Brooksville, died Monday, Sept. 1, at Brooksville Regional Hospital. He was born in Shamokin, Pa., and moved to the area 28 years ago from Plymouth, N.H.
Mr. Kanasky served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was a retired college professor from Kutztown State Teachers College. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brooksville.
Survivors include his nephew and nieces.
