TAMPA -
It was unknown as of Monday how severely Hurricane Gustav affected the oil refineries along the Gulf Coast.
Forecasters were expecting some sort of bump in prices as a result of the storm, according to AAA Auto Club South.
Oil platforms in Gustav's path were evacuated and some land-based refineries were shut down.
The storm was a Category 2 by the time it hit the Louisiana coastline Monday.
As of Sunday, the price of regular gas in Florida increased by only 0.3 cents.
The current price is $3.69 per gallon — still down 22 cents from a month ago.
