James F. Duncan, 68, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Oct. 11, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He was born in Lewistown, Pa., and moved to this area two years ago from Akron, Ohio.
Mr. Duncan was a design engineer for Parker Hannafin Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; his stepmother, Dorothy Stenchever; three sons, Kenneth, James and Robert; a brother, Joseph E. Duncan; a stepbrother, Larry Kearns; a sister, Jean Duncan; and six grandchildren.

Pearl T. Baranoski, 67, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Oct. 11, at Tangerine Cove, Brooksville. She was born in Dickson City, Pa., and moved to this area four years ago from New Jersey.
Ms. Baranoski was a secretary for Delta Airlines.
Survivors include two brothers, Frank of Florida and Allen of Virginia; and a sister, Gloria Harmon of Texas.

Juanita K. Chandler, 84, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Oct. 12, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. She was born in Newport, Wash., and moved to Florida 29 years ago from Oxon Hill, Md.
Mrs. Chandler was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Walter R. Sr.; a son, Walter R. Chandler Jr. of Spring Hill; a daughter, Kay Chandler Mullahey of New Port Richey; a brother, William McIntosh of Spokane, Wash.; two sisters, Louise Slusser and Shirley Ownbey, both of Newport; and five grandchildren.

Larry F. Sowle, 71, of Brooksville, died Monday, Oct. 13, at Brooksville Regional Hospital. He moved to this area 15 years ago from Bath, Mich.
Mr. Sowle was an automotive line worker, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Ella; a son, Billy Roebuck of Lutz; a daughter, Jewel Bubert of Hamilton, Texas; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Gustave J. Szinkewicz, 89, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Oct. 13, in Bayonet Point. He was born in Milwaukee, Wis., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Wilmington, N.C.
Mr. Szinkewicz retired as a product equipment designer for General Motors. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey; and two daughters, Kathleen Mennicke of Chadds Ford, Pa., and Diane Bowlin of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Linda C. Fewster, 67, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Oct. 13, at the Consulate at Bayonet Point, Hudson. She was born in Albany, Ga., and moved to this area 13 years ago from Fallston, Md.
Mrs. Fewster was a Catholic by faith and a member of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her husband, Peter J.; two sons, David A. of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Daniel of Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Raymond Cox of Greer, S.C.; and two grandchildren.

Bernard P. Barry, 89, of Brooksville, died Friday, Oct. 10, at his home. He was born in Bailieborough, County Cavan, Ireland, and moved to this area 27 years ago from Farmingdale, Long Island, N.Y.
Mr. Barry retired after 35 years as a repair service supervisor from New York Telephone Company, Nassau County, L.I. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, having served as a staff sergeant in Company A, 101st Signal Battalion, New York, N.Y., and Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was a member of Brooksville Country Club, Telephone Pioneers of America, and St Anthony Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen P. Monti of Naples; two sons, Brian P. Barry of Fort Collins, Colo., and Kevin J. Barry of Farmington, Conn.; a brother, Patrick Barry of Brooksville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

David A. Elliott, 56, of Cocoa Beach and Ridge Manor, died Monday, Oct. 13, at the Wuesthoff Hospital, Rockledge. He was born in Brooksville.
Mr. Elliott was a U.S. Navy veteran and a Christian by faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Cristy Labadie of Ridge Manor; three brothers, King Elliott of Alaska, and Jack Elliott and Bruce Elliott, both of Lakeland; a sister, Peggy McDougall of Minnesota; and his mother, Betty Goheen of Lakeland.

Philip H. Lane, 81, of Brooksville, died Monday, Oct. 13, at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson.
Mr. Lane was born in Flint, Mich., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Davidburg, Mich.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Lane of Oxford, Mich., and Terry Lane of Holly, Mich.; two daughters, Christine Evans of Warren, Mich., and Kelli Davis of Waterford, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and his companion, Beverly Lawler of Spring Hill.

Rocco De Marco Jr., 77, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to this area three years ago from Hewlett, Long Island, N.Y.
Mr. De Marco was a custodian within the public school system and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Maria; a son, Rocco De Marco III of Spring Hill; two daughters, Grace De Marco of Oceanside, N.Y., and Maria De Marco of Enward, N.Y.; five sisters, Eleanor Misiano, Honey Parasi, and Mary Peretti, all of Long Island, Dolly Johnson of Virginia, and Millie De Mayo of Bronx, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Gerald L. Chisholm, 91, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Oct. 13, at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Akron, Ohio, and moved to this area 25 years ago from Clearwater.
Mr. Chisholm was a charter member of the Elks Lodge, Willoughby, Ohio, and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian; two daughters, Nancy Crognale of Spring Hill and Floris Kless of Mentor, Ohio; a sister, Theo Craig of Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Dora Ruth A. Sanders, 71, of Floral City, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, at her home. She was born in Brooksville and moved to Floral City several years ago.
Mrs. Sanders was a homemaker and a Christian by faith.
Survivors include two sisters, Ethel Pressley of Brooksville and Mary Frances Hebert of Vernon; and a brother, Harlon Allen of Brooksville.
