R. Russ Ruta, 88, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Mount Morris, N.Y., and moved to this area 23 years ago from Rochester, N.Y.
Mr. Ruta was a general contractor for new home construction and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly A.; two daughters, Catherine Cullen of Mount Vale, N.J., and Gwen Ruta of Boston, Mass.; two brothers, Joseph Ruta of Lady Lake and Louis Ruta of Florida; two sisters, Jennie Orlando and Mary Calzone, both of Rochester; and two grandsons.

Ronald D. Crandall, 82, of Lutz, formerly of Brooksville, died Friday, Nov. 21, at home. He was born in Courtland, N.Y., and moved to this area three years ago from Brooksville.
Mr. Crandall was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry.
Survivors include two sons, Eric of Lutz and Stacey of Rose Hill, Miss.; a daughter, Judith Swearingen of Weeki Wachee; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Eldon L. Drier, 79, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Nov. 23. He was born in Lakeview, Miss., and moved to this area 49 years ago from Lakeview.
Mr. Drier was the former owner of Al's Barber Shop. He was a Korean conflict U.S. Navy veteran and a member of American Legion 99, Brooksville, and Brooksville Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his son, Ted L. Drier of Tallahassee; and a grandchild.

Janet A. Buehn, 79, of Land O' Lakes, formerly of Brooksville, died Monday, Nov. 10, at her home. She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Crystal Lake, Ill.
Mrs. Buehn was a retired department store cashier and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Buehn of Gainesville and George Buehn of Land O' Lakes; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Rose Russo, 99, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Nov. 23, at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Bronx, N.Y., and moved to this area seven years ago from Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mrs. Russo retired from the New York City Health Department. She was a member of Ladies of the Moose, St. Theresa Catholic Church, St. Athanasius, Brooklyn, and a Columbiette with the Cavellero Counsel, Brooklyn.
Survivors include two daughters, Francine of King of Prussia, Pa., and Phyllis Siano of Spring Hill; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Clara "Lee" Kelber, 77, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 21, at her home. She was born in Ronceverte, Va., and moved to this area 20 years ago from Columbus, Ohio.
Mrs. Kelber retired as an LPN for ACME Nurses Registry, Columbus, and was active in the Fibromyalgia Treatment Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia King of Pataskala, Ohio; a son, Bill Kelber of St. Petersburg; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Helen Price, 78, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, at an assisted living facility in Brooksville. She was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area five years ago from Farmington Hills, Mich.
Mrs. Price was a retired secretary and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include a son, James Price of Detroit; five daughters, Patricia Ann McNair of St. Petersburg, Carol Lynn Price of Alsip, Ill., Laurie Shambo of Spring Hill, Linda Marie Spencer of Rochester, N.Y., and Marguerite Helen Bradley of Brooksville; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
