SPRING HILL - Art browsers and buyers weren't the only ones who walked among the exhibitors at the 35th annual Fall Festival of Art last weekend.
A judge also checked out the creative handiwork in booths in and around the Lake House on the bank of Hunters Lake.
The winners took home ribbons and cash prizes. They are listed below.
The final figures aren't in yet but the art league made enough to award two $1,000 scholarships to local high school students planning to major in art, said publicity chairwoman Lynne Simone. The league aims to award four such scholarships each year and should be able do so again in 2009, Simone said.
