Broken Sprinklers Bring Charges
BROOKSVILLE - A county jail inmate was charged for reportedly breaking a sprinkler head in his cell, both on Monday and last Thursday.
Corrections officers told a deputy Monday that inmate Herberson St. Surin threatened to continue breaking sprinklers in any cell he was placed in, a report shows. He had already broken a sprinkler head the week prior and told a corrections officer, "Yea, yea, what you going to do now," a report shows.
St. Surin, 20, was given two felony charges of obstructing the extinguishment of a fire.
