BROOKSVILLE - Authorities say a woman who discovered her neighbor dead in his home stole the deceased's credit card and used it at gas stations.
Michele Vasquez, 37, of 11152 Salome St., used her neighbor's credit card within hours of finding him dead on Monday, a sheriff's office report shows.
Over the next two days, authorities allege Vasquez used the card eight times to buy gasoline and random items from gas stations in the Brooksville area.
She is charged with fraudulent use of a credit card.

SPRING HILL A composite sketch of an attempted kidnapper was released by the sheriff's office on Thursday.
Investigators say the man pictured tried to abduct a 22-year-old woman Tuesday night at a gas station on Commercial Way.
The suspect grabbed the victim's arm when she offered him a cigarette lighter outside the Mobil gas station and tried to drag her into his pickup.
The victim jerked her arm back, ran to her vehicle and drove away. She reported the incident when she got home.
Deputies describe the suspect as a white male about 6 feet tall, with a muscular build, hazel eyes, clean shaven and a military-style haircut. He was wearing a white tank top, dirty jeans and black work boots.
His pickup was a light, metallic green 2007-08 Chevy truck, possibly a Silverado, two-door, extended cab, short bed, with window tint on the back side and rear bed window.
