Margaret R. "Peggy" LaBott, 73, of Spring Hill, died Monday, May 12, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. She was born in Bellwood, Ill., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Greenwich, Conn.
Mrs. LaBott was an executive secretary and a member of the Spring Hill Garden Club, Hadassah, Aripeka Elks Lodge 2520 and Forest Oaks Lutheran Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond; a son, Keith LaBott of East Northport, N.Y.; a daughter, Kristianna Dest of Stamford, Conn.; a brother, John Raasch of San Diego, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Arrangements by Turner Funeral & Cremation Center, U.S. 19 Chapel, Spring Hill.
Philip C. Smith, 69, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, May 14, at his home. He was born in Lawrence, Mass., and moved to this area five years ago from Dover, N.H.
Mr. Smith was an owner of a convenience store.
Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Smith of Spring Hill; two stepsons, Bryan Wilson and John Mackenzie, both of Nashua, N.H.; four brothers, Reverend Carl Smith of Arizona, Gerald Smith of California, Malcolm Smith of Merrimac, Mass., and Paul Smith of Pelham, N.H.; a sister, Louise Hargraves of Davenport; and three grandchildren.
