Sheer Mitigated Ignorance

Re: "Wright Fuss Weakens Dems, Squanders Chance To Get Serious" in the May 8 edition of Hernando Today.

Another masterpiece of radical anti-American "blame America and white people for everything" agenda from Ted Rall that is getting very old, tiring and, quite frankly, very boring.

The epitome of Rall depicts a young over-educated man who enjoys his own personal arena of self-radicalism in the anti-American campaign than dealing with the historic facts and origin of where terrorism began. Terrorism, slave-trading and numerous unmentionable committed acts of mass murder against the human race are recorded in history from the beginning of time. Every race, color, creed and culture of every nation on this earth has the blood of human atrocities on their hands that cannot be washed off by simply not acknowledging it.
Ted Rall isn't interested in true history facts, as he's more obsessed with singling out America and the white race for all of it. Never mind that the acts of terrorism and slavery were being carried out for thousands of years before America came into existence.

The Revs. Farrakhan, Wright, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton get up on their hate-mongering pulpits against America and the white man, but fail to hold accountable their own for such crimes and horrors of misdeeds within their recorded cultural backgrounds. They don't want to see the contributions to terrorism and slave-trading, while African chiefs sold their own people to Arab, Jewish and white slave traders for profit in ridding themselves of unwanted criminals within their own tribes.

Rev. Farrakhan, heard in a recent TV news clip, stated: "The white man will have to die in order for the human race to survive." "When you consider he is the national representative and so-called Honorable Elijah Muhammad of The Nation of Islam, it's quite obvious who and what he represents. Then we have Rev. Wright who hides behind his church and Christian disguise in his hate-filled sermons that only contribute to promote violence against America and the white race while emulating terrorist extremists like Farrakhan.

I truly believe Mr. Rall is an unfortunate victim of a massive overdose of education that only renders him the credentials of sheer mitigated ignorance.

Turning Their Backs On The Taxpayers

I do not understand Wayne Alexander or the school board. Mr. Alexander must think that he is the only person affected by the cost of gas with his request for an increase in his car allowance, and the teachers and other taxpayers are only paying $1 per gallon to get to work. Secondly, in requesting to renegotiate after six months, he is more arrogant than some professional athletes.

For the edification of Mr. Alexander and the school board here is the definition of contract, since it is obvious that they are unaware of what a contract is.

A contract is a legally binding exchange of promises or agreement between parties that the law will enforce. Contract law is based on the Latin phrase pacta sunt servanda (pacts must be kept). Breach of contract is recognized by the law and remedies can be provided. Almost everyone makes contracts every day. Sometimes written contracts are required, such as when buying a house. However, most contracts can be and are made orally, like buying a law textbook or a coffee at a shop. Contract law can be classified, as is habitual in civil law systems, as part of a general law of obligations (along with tort, unjust enrichment or restitution).

If the school board agrees to Mr. Alexander's request, then they better be ready because they will have effectively opened every other contract they have to renegotiation, turned their backs on the taxpayers and need to be removed from office.

It is time that "for the people, by the people" again is the rule of government.
