James M. Stewart, 82, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, May 1, at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. He was born in Crestline, Kan., and moved to this area eight years ago from Sardis, Tenn.
Mr. Stewart retired from the Marine Corp after 20 years of service. He also worked for Downing Forge in St. Petersburg. He was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy R.; three daughters, Sharon Thomas of Hudson, Carol Ann Johnson of St. Petersburg and Betty Hannon of Spring Hill; a son, James M. Stewart Jr. of St. Petersburg; a brother, Bill of Missouri; a sister, Ruth Young of Missouri; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Irene Wescott, 79, of Spring Hill, died Friday, May 2, at West Palm Beach. She was born in Millinochet, Maine, and moved to Florida 23 years ago from Franklin, N.H.
Mrs. Wescott was a homemaker and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill.
Survivors include three sons, Glen, Gary and Daniel Wescott; a daughter, Abigail; five sisters, Winifred, Lillian, Bernice, Carol Jean and Christina; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Charles V. Letourneau Jr., 65, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, May 1, at his home.
Mr. Letourneau was in customer relations for sales. He was a member of an adult hockey team for over 27 years and was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline; two daughters, Danielle and Kerri; his parents, Nancy and Charles; a sister, Valerie; and a grandson.

Danial L. Cole, 71, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, May 4, at his home. He was born in Beckley, W.Va., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Hudson.
Mr. Cole was founder and pastor of the Church of Spring Hill, a former Tampa Police officer, a violinist with the Tampa Philharmonic Orchestra and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Survivors include his wife, Geri; four sons, Danial L. Cole II of Citrus Springs, Michael Cole of Wesley Chapel, Randy Moyse of Bentonville, Ark., and Michael Moyse of Weatherford, Texas; a daughter, Joanie Parks of Weatherford; two brothers, A.W. "Bud" Cole of St. Petersburg and Gene Cole of Stockbridge, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Maryellen Abdo, 78, of Weeki Wachee, died Sunday, May 4, at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Staten Island, N.Y.
Mrs. Abdo was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and AARP.
Survivors include her husband, Peter; three children, Peter Jr. of Staten Island, Elizabeth of Manhattan, and Maria of Long Island, N.Y.; and a grandson.

Charles W. Dorego, 77, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, May 6, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. He moved to this area 19 years ago from his native Brooklyn, New York.
Mr. Dorego was a retired conductor for Long Island Railroad, a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two sons, Charles of New York, N.Y., and Paul of Long Island, N.Y.; a daughter, Denise O'Malley of Long Island; and four grandchildren.

Roy Jimmy "Mac" McDaniel, 82, of Brooksville, died Monday, May 5, at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Vinton, Va., and moved to this area 33 years ago from Seminole.
Mr. McDaniel retired from the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper, having served during World War II with the 101st Airborne. He was a life member of the American Legion, DAV, VFW and the NRA. He retired from Seminole Fire Department and was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; a son, Marshall Lee McDaniel of Brooksville; four daughters, Kathy White of Starkville, Miss., Sharon Frazier and Jennifer McDaniel, both of Brooksville, and Alisa Brown of Crestview; two brothers, Gilbert of Vinton, Va., and Joseph of Smith Mountain Lake, Va.; a sister, Betty Hunt of Hilton Head, N.C.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Ruth Mackawgy-Fish, 82, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, May 4, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Unit, Chatman Boulevard, Brooksville. She was born in Germany and moved to this area 18 years ago from Gastonia, N.C.
Mrs. Mackawgy-Fish was a blood bank technician and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include two sons, Ross Mackawgy of Redington Shores and Marc Mackawgy of Bogota, N.J.; a sister, Birgit Hein of Germany; and three grandchildren.

Philip J. Granger, 82, of Spring Hill, died Monday, May 5, at his home. He was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area 19 years ago from Ferndale, Mich.
Mr. Granger was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, having served as a radio man. He was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine; three daughters, Deborah Granger of Ferndale, Anne Green of Royal Oak, Mich., and Susan Loulikas of Tarpon Springs; three sons, Robert Granger of Madison Heights, Mich., Glenn Granger of Portland, Mich., and Eric Granger of White Lake, Mich.; a sister, Marion Dey of Palmetto;10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Nancy E. Charnock, 53, of Brooksville, died Monday, May 5.
Mrs. Charnock was born in Duquoin, Ill., and moved to this area from St. Petersburg.
Survivors include her husband, Philip; a son, Raymond; a daughter, Sarah; her mother, Patricia; a brother, Steven; three sisters, Wanda, Susan and Deborah; and a granddaughter.
