Nasario S. Diaz IV, 28, of Ridge Manor, died Wednesday, June 25, at University Community Hospital. He was born in Texas and moved to the area two months ago from Georgia.
Mr. Diaz was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Celia and Elvis Soler, of Ridge Manor; father, Nasario III, of Taft, Texas; brother, Carlos Alvarado, of Chapel Hill, N.C.; sisters, Mia Diaz-Gonzales, of Clearwater, and Gianna R., of Palm Harbor; maternal grandparents, Juan and Juanita Reyes, of Taft; and paternal grandmother, Manuela, of Taft.

Bernard G. Bishop, 65, of Brooksville, died Thursday, June 26, at his home. He was born in Tampa and moved to the area 37 years ago from Crystal River.
Mr. Bishop served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a deputy with the City of Bellair Police Department. He was a member of Gulf Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon; sons, Glynn and Troy, both of Brooksville; daughters, Sharee McCutchen, of Lutz, and Jessica Jewell, of Brooksville; brother, William, of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; sister, Della R. Buzzy, of Poulan, Ga.; and four grandchildren.

Ellen R. Gartland, 59, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, June 26, at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in New Haven, Conn., and moved to the area five years ago from Killworth, Conn.
Mrs. Gartland worked as a customer service representative for Liberty Mutual Insurance.
Survivors include her husband, John Sr.; sons, John "Jay" Jr., of Middletown, Conn., and Patrick, of Hudson; daughters, Robin, of Hadlyme, Conn., and Kaycee, of Spring Hill; brother, Larry, of Largo; and two grandchildren.
