Pastor Dave Brockhoff of Holy Trinity and his wife Bonnie hosted a graduation party for their daughter, Emily, who graduated from Nature Coast Technical High School. The get-together was last Sunday at their home in Spring Hill with more than 50 guests attending; all enjoyed a mixed variety of eats - a veritable smorgasbord. Out-of-town relatives attending were Kathy Brockhoff, Pastor's sister, from Tonca City, Okla., Bonnie's sister Eileen Burdette of West Palm Beach and the whole Southall family from Atlanta - longtime family friends. All had a joyful time.

There was a baby shower for Mike and Stephanie Carter on May 31 at their home. More than 30 guests enjoyed pizza and other food stuffs. Grandmother Betty Issacs came from St. Petersburg, Mike's parents Mike and Brenda Carter and his sister Allison Olson, and most of the Olson family came from Homosassa Springs. The Carters and their 3-year-old daughter Katherine await the new precious arrival, due Aug. 5.

Get well wishes go out to Milagros Lambert who is home after surgery at Largo Medical Center.

Pete and Mariana Mundreanu, owners of the Harmony House Family Restaurant, will be open today for Father's Day dinning and are celebrating their 34th wedding anniversary. Both were born in Romania and married in 1974 in Cleveland. We wish them many more in good health and happiness.

Sympathies to the family of 89-year-old Mary Kizale who died May 30 at her home. Mary was born in Czechoslovakia and they moved here 30 years ago from Zephyrhills. Kizale of Reston, Va., three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass was held at St. Mary's with Father James Flemming of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church officiating, and the Choir singing a few of her favorite hymns.
