Lee D. Preston, 72, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, July 24, at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Helper, Utah, and moved to the area 13 years ago from Saudi Arabia. Mr. Preston was an aircraft branch manager, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a Mormon.
Survivors include his wife, Anne; son, Alan Chappron, of Bothell, Wash.; brother, Roy, of Seattle; sister, Carol Fechico, of Utah; and three grandchildren.
Arrangements by Turner Funeral and Cremation Center, U.S. 19 Chapel.
Charles G. Squire Jr., 74, of Brooksville, died Friday, July 25, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice. He was born in Ilion, N.Y., and moved to the area three years ago. Mr. Squire served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a retired supervisor in the microfilm lab for General Electric. He was a member of the Boy Scouts, Cloverleaf Amateur Radio Club, Herkimer County Amateur Radio Club in New York; the American Legion and the Ilion Volunteer Fire Department. He was Episcopalian.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemarie; sons, David Charles, of Bel Air, Md., and Robert Alan, of Ilion; daughters, Christina Holgate, of Cazenovia, N.Y., and Debora Cullen, of Amherst, N.Y.; and 10 grandchildren. Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.
Betty J. Boehm, 84, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, July 24, at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, and moved to the area 10 years ago from Hilton Head, S.C.
Ms. Boehm was a retired administrative assistant with the Youngstown Board of Education.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Smith, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; son, Robert, of Hilton Head; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
