RIDGE MANOR - Three people were critically injured Friday following a head-on collision along Cortez Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Audrey M. McCabe, 80, of Brooksville, was driving a 2000 Toyota sedan eastbound along State Road 50 shortly after 12:30 p.m. when it swerved onto the westbound lanes and into the path of another vehicle, troopers said.
Gregory Gurdack, 29, and Curtis A. Todd, 16, both of Mascotte, were traveling in a 2002 Toyota sport utility vehicle.
McCabe's vehicle collided with the front end of the SUV. Her sedan rotated and came to a rest along the north shoulder of S.R. 50, near the intersection of Richloam Clay Sink Road, according to an accident report. Gurdack's vehicle came to a rest along the eastbound lane, troopers said.
All three were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
The accident does not appear to be alcohol related, troopers said.
McCabe, Gurdack and Todd were taken to Tampa General Hospital and were listed in critical condition Friday.
