SPRING HILL - The suspected robber of a Walgreens pharmacy was arrested in about three hours on Tuesday.
Deputies say Anton Ziherle, 23, passed a note to pharmacists at 4255 Commercial Way demanding their entire supply of the painkiller oxycodone.
Ziherle made his escape in a taxi around 9:30 p.m. and was taken back to a hotel room. He left his cell phone behind because he couldn't pay the fare, a report shows.
Meanwhile, investigating deputies were following up on a lead that a taxi was seen leaving the scene. Spring Hill Taxi patched them through to Ziherle's driver, who then passed him onto the suspect's aunt, who had just called the cell phone left behind.
Ziherle's aunt reportedly identified her nephew as a drug addict and gave investigators the hotel and room number where he was staying. Deputies surrounded the Comfort Inn on Cortez Boulevard and arrested Ziherle at midnight.
Authorities say Ziherle made several incriminating statements about his cell phone and drug habit, but couldn't recall the actual robbery because he had snorted 12 pills just prior. The clothes worn in the robbery and prescription bottles were recovered from nearby trash cans at the hotel, a report states.
Ziherle, of 5152 Teather St., was charged with unarmed robbery.

Deputies arrived at 7159 Sunnyside Drive to serve an arrest warrant on Darryl Batten and, while there, they found another wanted person, Gregory Fields, and some methamphetamine, a report shows.
Both were handcuffed and led to a waiting cruiser. While in the back seat, Fields admitted the meth was his and Batten advised his companion to ask for a lawyer because he believed the search was illegal, a report states. Both their comments were recorded on a dashboard camera, deputies say.
Batten, 47, was charged with possession of meth, drug paraphernalia, altering property and possession of a firearm by a felon. Fields, 50, of 19523 Phillips Road, was charged with possession of meth.
