Texas Roadhouse Coming To Brooksville

BROOKSVILLE - Hernando County is about to get a little meatier.
Officials from the Hernando County Development Department confirmed Friday that Texas Roadhouse Inc. is building a 7,000-square-foot restaurant in Brooksville.
It will be located in front of the Beacon movie theater on Cortez Boulevard, with construction that started earlier this month.
Founded in 1993, the Louisville, Ky.-based steakhouse chain currently has nine locations in Florida. It has 300 locations nationwide.
At press time, a spokesman for the company had not returned a request for comment.
