John E. Green, 63, of Brooksville, died Friday, July 11, at his home. He was born in Canaan, Conn., and moved to this area 18 years ago from Tampa.
Mr. Green was a U.S. Army veteran and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Lori T.; two sons, Shawn Green of Tampa and Kevin Fitzsimmons of Brooksville; three daughters, Angie Sanders of Longwood, and Christy Hoosack and Liz Dennis, both of Brooksville; his mother, Dorothy Green of Tampa; a brother, George Green of Amelia Island; two sisters, Joan Pierceall of Tampa and Grace Weigand of Brandon; and eight grandchildren.
Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.

Harry D. Stamper, 72, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, July 12, at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Eunice, W.Va., and moved to this area three years ago from Harrison, Ark.
Mr. Stamper was a retired fork lift operator in warehouse distributions for Walt Disney World, a Korean conflict U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Brooksville.
Survivors include his wife, Conealia A.; a son, Neal T. Stamper of Harrison; two daughters, Ann Adel Stamper of Spring Hill and Billie Gail Shapiro of Grand Island; two sisters, Madeline Hale of Athens, Ala., and Margaret Walker of Sylvester, W.Va.; and five grandchildren.

Peter Drago, 86, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, July 13, at Spring Oaks in Brooksville. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to this area five years ago from West Palm Beach.
Mr. Drago was a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Drago of Spring Hill and Peter Drago of Albany, N.Y.; a daughter, Theresa Mazza of Spring Hill; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Jan R. Kowalik, 86, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, July 13, at Heron Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center, Brooksville. He moved to this area 25 years ago from Munster, Ind.
Mr. Kowalik was a retired pipe fitter with a steel mill and past secretary and treasurer of the Polish Army Veteran Association, East Chicago, Ind.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda; a daughter, Irene Goldstein of Spring Hill; a stepdaughter, Yvonne Skertich of Valparaiso, Ind.; a stepson, Edward Sobolewski of Jacksonville; two sisters; two brothers; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
