Youth Festival To Be Presented Saturday

BROOKSVILLE - Hernando County Community Anti-Drug Coalition and the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the Fine Arts Council, will present a Summer Youth Festival from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at the Brooksville Band Shell, 204 E. Fort Dade Ave. Food and displays will be featured, with a full performance by Strength of the Young including live positive hip-hop, exciting drum performances by B.L.A.S.T., crazy competitions, giveaways, live disc jockey, skits and youth speakers who will address the issues affecting kids today.
