16 Years For Child Molester

BROOKSVILLE - A man who coaxed sexual favors from two boys in exchange for trips to the skating rink received 16 1/2 years in prison and a sexual predator designation in Circuit Court on Wednesday.
Roland Moore, 50, pleaded guilty to six sex-related charges, including enticing a child less than 16 into a sex act and possession of child pornography. Two charges of sexual performance by a child were dropped, court records show.
An affidavit states Moore showed the victims, ages 11 and 12, gay pornography and slid his hand up one of the boy's shorts.
The two boys referred to Moore as "Uncle Ronnie" and knew each other, investigators reported.
A special condition of his sentence is that he makes no contact with the victim's family or any relatives in Florida. Moore was also designated a sexual predator by Circuit Judge Jack Springstead.
