An witness told the deputy Tuesday evening that two people were rolling a joint in a white Grand Marquis on aisle seven, so the deputy went to investigate.

He walked up to the open passenger window, said hello, and asked the woman sitting in the front seat, Jennifer Bumgarner, 19, if there were any drugs in the car. Bumgarner reportedly answered "yes" and handed over her bag; the man in the back seat, Cody Smith, 19, turned over his bag too, a report shows.

Both were given misdemeanor citations and deputy confiscated 12.8 grams of pot, worth $100.

Music Earns Neighbor Breach Of Peace Citation

BROOKSVILLE - A breach of peace citation was given to a man whose music was audible 300 feet from his neighbor's house, a report shows.

The deputy went to Hartwell Street around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a noise complaint.

As he collected a sworn statement from the complainant that the suspect's music was keeping her up at night, a second noise complaint was received from a different neighbor, a report states.

A similar statement was taken there as well, so the deputy went to 25332 Croom Road to talk with the suspect, Francis Terkovich, 50.

Terkovich, who appeared intoxicated, reportedly informed the deputy that he owned two acres of property and "I'll play my music as loud as I want to."
