Food, Toys Offered To Needy On Christmas Eve
BROOKSVILLE - Local students are putting out a call to the needy.
Reiko Pearson and members of her class at the Withlacoochee Technical Institute's Patient Care Assistance department will give away food and gifts on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24.
The giveaway begins at 3 p.m. at Oak Park Apartments, 460 Hale Ave. in Brooksville, and will go on until everything is gone.
Dinners will feature turkey, fixings and dessert. Gifts include toys for boys and girls and clothing for men and women. Blankets and baby food also are available.
Recipients must be truly needy, but the giveaway will operate on the honor system.
